Kate told me about the free intro class and I just fell in love right away. You're right! It's amazing to be able to do something that seems...maybe not doable. Even though we did such basic, basic stuff last night, it was enough to give me a taste of that almost euphoric empowerment. I can't wait to get on the silks again. I was directed to your blog by Kate; I used to play on the Puddlejumpers with you, way back in the day. Anyway, I've just signed up for aerial classes here in New York that start next week. We had an intro class last night (to see the variety of courses offered by the academy -- I chose to take a core conditioning and strengthening class and Aerial Acrobatics 1) and I am SO EXCTIED about it. It's neat to read the thoughts of someone who is a bit ahead of me on the learning curve...like a preview of what I've got coming up. I'm glad you're enjoying it so much!
